SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS (SRF) UNDER THE CSR PROJECTS FOR THE NEW TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT-2

Name of Position: Senior Research Fellows (SRF) for the New Technology Management Department-2
No of Position: 2 (Two)
Type of Position: Fellow (Project Specific)
Project Name: Solar-Wind Hybrid System: Research on Solar PV – Wind Hybrid energy systems
Engagement period: Two Years, extendable up to one more year/ end of the project
Fellowship/Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month
Reporting to: General Manager – New Technology Management
Job Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat (Willingness to travel as per project requirement)
Minimum Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering with M.E./ M. Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Renewable Energy/ Power Sector/ Solar Energy/ Energy System
Minimum Experience Required: Nil
Additional Desired Qualification: GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference
Additional desired experience and knowledge: Certification in related field
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of Wind and Solar technology
  • Understanding of new renewable technologies like floating solar, building integrated photovoltaic, etc.
  • Ability to understand energy and market scenarios
  • Ability to present the results through infographics
  • Strong written and oral communication, excellent presentation skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Open to learning and immediately putting it into practice
  • Should be a team player
Job description:
  • Implementing pilot projects for solar and wind energy
  • Conduct lectures on renewable energy topics in training programs
  • Manage project communication and documentation
  • Develop and deliver reports, white papers, required documentation, and presentations related to the project
  • Providing policy support to various Government departments
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, internal and external, on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in writing and analyzing technical reports
  • Assist project coordinators with Liasioning work
  • Carry out the projects/ tasks assigned by reporting officer with professionalism

  • Developing models and simulations for the battery state estimation
  • Assist the project coordinator in communicating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth implementation of the pilot
  • Manage project communication and documentation
  • Develop and deliver reports, white papers, required documentation, and presentations related to the project
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, internal and external, on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in writing and analyzing technical reports
  • Assist project coordinators with Liasioning work

Reporting to: Director – Petroleum Research Management
Job Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat (Willingness to travel as per project requirement)
Qualification: Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M. Tech (Chemical/ Instrumental/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Chemistry or relevant discipline) with minimum of 55% marks.
Desired Skills: Candidates having experience in the field of hydrogen generation, blending of hydrogen with natural gas and having experience for handling instruments are encouraged to apply. – Candidates will be required to travel for onsite sample collection, collaboration, and networking with other institutions under the project.

Qualification: Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Physics/ Electronics/ Chemistry or relevant discipline) with minimum of 55% marks.
Desired Skills: Candidates having experience in the field of electrochemistry, handling energy storage device testing machines, supercapacitor/Battery device assembling, synthesis of novel materials for energy storage etc. Candidates will be required to travel for sample collection, collaboration, and networking with other institutions under the project.

Project Name: Biogas: Research and development of enriched biogas plant by utilization of agri and bio waste in rural areas
Reporting to: Deputy General Manager – Environment Management
Job Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat (Willingness to travel as per project requirement)
Qualification: M. Sc./ M. Tech (Environmental Science/ Chemistry / Microbiology/ Chemical Engineering or relevant life science discipline) with minimum of 55% marks.
Desired Skills: Candidates having experience in the field of bio-gas generation and handling bacterial isolation, mixed culture establishment, wastewater treatment, Air monitoring, water sample analysis and having capabilities for handling analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC etc. encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to travel for onsite sample collection, collaboration, and networking with other institutions under the project.
