Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned
by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat is entrusted with the responsibility of
implementation of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I, Phase-II, and Surat Phase-I and its Operations
& Maintenance.
GMRC Recruitment 2023: GMRC invites applications from Indian Railways/Metros/RRTS/PSUs and other Govt. organizations on
a deputation basis for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer. Appointments will be only on a “Deputation” basis
on standard terms & conditions of the Organization:

Type of Employment: On Deputation for a period of 3 (Three) years extendable upto 5 years
Maximum Age Limit (as on 1 st April 2023): 56 Years
Scale of Pay for deputation post.: As per deputation terms and conditions Other Entitlements as per governing policies of GMRC.
GMRC Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification:
- i. Officer should be in Group-A services drawing their pay in the scale of Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) in their cadres (Functional/Non – Functional). ii. The officers having experience of working in technical disciplines of Group A engineering disciplines of Railways will be preferred. iii. The Bench Mark for selection would be atleast “8.0” in APAR Grading of last 5 years and the integrity should be beyond doubt. (Wherever number grading is not available “Very Good” will be acceptable).

GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. Apart from the pay, other benefits will also be paid as per the Company Policy. 2. Internal candidates, including those currently on deputation are not eligible to apply for this post. 3. The officer being considered should not have worked (in the preceding 3 years) in an organization/office in any capacity having direct official dealings with GMRCL. 4. Candidates after selection are likely to be posted at Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar/ Surat or any other projects of GMRC, anywhere in Gujarat. The % of HRA may vary according to the place ofposting as per Government guidelines. 5. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influencewith regard to selection/appointment shall lead to disqualification
