Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by IBPS:
Educational Qualification (as on 06.10.2026)
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a major or elective subject at Graduation. OR
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a major or elective subject at Graduation. OR
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as a major or elective subject and English as medium of examination at degree level. OR
- Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English as a major or elective subject and Hindi as medium of examination at degree level.
- Note: Degrees obtained through correspondence/distance education/open university system are not acceptable. The result must be declared on or before the last date of online application.
Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026)
- Minimum: 23 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2003 (both dates inclusive).
Minimum Post Qualification Work Experience
- One year experience of translation work from English to Hindi and vice-versa of various reports/documents/letters in a bank/financial institution is desirable.
- Competency in operating computer is a must. Candidates will be required to type/create translated text documents in MS Word & Excel in Hindi & English.
- Exposure/experience related to the development of AI-based tools for translation would be an added qualification.
