Qualifying Examination: Any UR/ UR-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.
or The candidates qualifying in the NET, based on a four-year undergraduate degree, will be eligible to apply online for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for admission to the Ph.D but not for Assistant Professor. They have to secure a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in a four-year undergraduate degree.
Note: A relaxation of 5% marks has been given for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
