Project Associate (PAT-I) (Total Number of Positions: 02 nos.)
Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. Chemistry or B. E. / B. Tech – Chemical Engineering / Chemical technology/Mechanical engineering
Desirable experience / qualification:
The selected candidates are required to work on the DST funded project “Conversion of fouled end-of-life Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration membranes into the membranes for zero liquid discharge plants and resource recovery applications”.
The experience in laboratory experiments / chemical analysis and/or concept of process design is desirable.
Monthly Emoluments:

- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE or those who have qualified national level examination conducted by central government departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their agencies/institutions
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on last date of receipt of applications i.e. 25/10/2024.
Project Assistant-II (PA-II) (Total Number of Position: 01 no.)
Essential Qualifications: BSc in Chemistry/3 years Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical engineering/technology
Monthly Emoluments:
Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on last date of receipt of applications i.e. 25/10/2024
Duration: This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would not confer any right/ claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar
