SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS-1 (PROJECT SPECIFIC) FOR THE NEW TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Name of Position: Senior Research Fellow-1
Number of Vacancies: 3 (Three)
Type of Position: Fellow (Project Specific)
Remuneration: INR 35,000/- per month
location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat
May have to travel across India when the need arises.
Reporting to: Head – New Technology Management Department
Engagement period: Till 31st August, 2024
Minimum Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with M.E. / M. Tech in Electrical Engineering / Renewables Energy / Power Sector / Solar Energy / Energy System
Minimum experience required: Nil
Additional desired qualification: GATE – qualified candidates will be given preference
Additional desired experience and knowledge: Certification in related field
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of Electric Vehicles (EV) technology and charging techniques
  • Understanding of EV charging infrastructure requirements
  • Better knowledge for preparation of Financial Models & Business Models
  • Knowledge about carbon emissions and environmental impact assessment study
  • Understanding of Policy and Roadmap preparation
  • Ability to present the results through infographics
  • Strong written and oral communication, excellent presentation skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Open to learning and immediately putting it into practice
  • Should be a team player
Job Description:
  • Conducting surveys, performing operational analysis and analysing patterns for the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles for the dairy industry
  • Assist the project coordinator in communicating with vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth implementation of the pilot
  • Manage project communication and documentation
  • Develop and deliver reports, white papers, required documentation and presentations related to project
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, internal and external, on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in writing and analysing technical reports
  • Assist project coordinators with Liaoning work
  • Carry out the projects/ tasks assigned by reporting officer with professionalism

Minimum Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Renewables Energy / Power Sector / Solar Energy / Energy System
Minimum experience required: Nil
Additional desired qualification: GATE – qualified candidates will be given preference
Additional desired experience and knowledge: Certification in related field
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of Off-shore wind technology
  • Understanding of new renewables technologies like floating solar, building integrated photovoltaic, green hydrogen etc.
  • Ability to understand energy and market scenario
  • Understanding of Roadmap preparation and various energy policies
  • Ability to present the results through infographics
  • Strong written and oral communication, excellent presentation skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Open to learning and immediately putting it into practice
  • Should be a team player
Job Description:
  • Study international, national and state-level initiatives in off-shore wind
  • Conduct lectures on renewable energy topics in training programmes
  • Manage project communication and documentation
  • Develop and deliver reports, white papers, required documentation and presentations related to project
  • Providing policy support to various Government departments
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, internal and external, on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in writing and analysing technical reports
  • Assist project coordinators with Liaoning work
  • Carry out the projects/ tasks assigned by reporting officer with professionalism
