Applications are invited for one position of Research Fellow for the All India Council for Technical Education,
The government of India funded a research project titled “Impact Study of the SIP and UHV Programs”. The project is
aimed to assess the impact of Universal Human Values (UHV) programs qualitatively and design questionnaires to
capture the impact of FDP-UHV (for teachers), UHV-I & UHV-II (for students). Refer to

Job Profile
The responsibilities of the Research Fellow will include the following:
A. Be stationed at Anand, Gujarat, and be a part of the team undertaking the study at IRMA
B. Carry out data collection (mostly qualitative) in select Technical Institutions in India.
C. Transcribe and analyze audio data as per the guidance of the reporting officer(s).
D. Assist in designing data collection tools
E. Clean data, analyze and present it periodically
F. Write reports and such other communications as needed from time to time
G. Assist in other work related to the project
Essential Qualification IRMA Recruitment 2022
A. Ph.D./Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university/institute specializing in Psychology,
Social Psychology, Human Resource Management, Social Science, or Education.
B. Proficiency in handling MS office.
C. Excellent command over oral and written English and Hindi language
D. Experience in carrying out qualitative data collection, transcription, and analysis
E. Experience in carrying out questionnaire design, data collection, and analysis
F. Proficiency in qualitative data analysis software, namely Atlas Ti or NVivo
Proficiency in qualitative data analysis software, namely SPSS will be an added advantage.
Tenure and Remuneration IRMA Recruitment 2022
The appointment will be on a purely contractual basis with the consolidated payment for 12 months initially and
likely to be extended based on the performance up to the duration of the project. Candidates with Ph.D.
qualifications shall be considered for the Senior Research Fellow position with a consolidated remuneration of Rs.
40,000/- per month. Candidates with master’s degrees shall be considered with a consolidated remuneration of
Rs. 30,000/- per month for the Research Fellow position.
Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications and experience prescribed will not make a candidate eligible to be called
for an interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. No correspondence/interim
inquiries/telephone inquiries in the matter will be entertained.
The Director, IRMA reserves the right to make relaxations in the prescribed qualifications/experience if found
suitable.
