The Centre desires to recruit Research Assistants (temporary) on a purely temporary and ad-hoc basis for 11 months on a fixed salary. Research Assistant (temporary) – Rs. 20000/- per month (fixed) Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Economics/Agricultural Economics/Statistics/Agribusiness Management / Commerce / Management.
Candidate for the post should be computer literate with good working knowledge of computer software packages and applications, data processing, MS Word, MS Excel and SPSS. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in field data collection/fieldwork.
General: The post is purely temporary and ad-hoc in nature and will be terminable without notice. The selected candidate will have no claim whatsoever on the permanent position of the Centre and will not be entitled to any other benefits. Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST/SEBC candidates.
